Meet the Founder

Darryl K. Johnson, M.Ed., earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Texas Southern University and a Master of Education degree from Kent State University School of Counseling. He began his executive career in higher education with Morris Brown College, one of the Nation’s private research institutions for liberal sciences, consulting executive leadership processes. He fulfilled the role of Director of Education, serving high-volume leadership in Atlanta, GA., market.

Before finishing his tenure with Morris Brown College, he received the recognition of “Who’s Who” among Higher Educators.  He frequently spoke at corporations, colleges, and universities on career development and human capital-building and, public sector events on talent management, chief knowledge management, and excellent customer service strategies.

Board member of the Atlanta University Center Consortium

He served as a Board member, an inclusion of Spellman College, Clark Atlanta University, Morris Brown College, Morehouse College, and Morehouse Medical School.  Continuing his involvement in Higher Education leadership, he served as chair of Southern Dallas County Education Consortium Board comprised of a community college district, four research universities, and the three southeastern sector independent school districts.

Member of the Minority Business and Women Enterprise

As a member of the community in Fort Worth, Texas, he provided recommendations to City Council business advisors on matters relating to advancing proper customer services in minority business in the growing City of Fort Worth, Texas. As a private consultant, under his executive search and management recruitment firm, DKJ Consulting Group, he contracted with Fortune 500 corporations, public and private higher education institutions.

He is the President and CEO of DKJ Consulting Group, LLC, that is presently closing the customer services competency gap by building and leveraging relationships with Fortune 1000 corporations, colleges, and universities.  He is preparing people, mainly students the college-to-career pathway and framing the customer services focus as an innovative tool in career development.
